Christmas Lights
Government House
Christmas Lights are back on at Queensland's Government House with a spectacular display that is open to the public nightly from 6.45-8pm on December 10-16, 2021.

The landmark historic house and gardens will be once again lit up in a magical light show that has become a must-see for Brisbane families at Christmas time.

Fernberg, the official residence of the Governor of Queensland since 1910, is over 150 years old. Its popularity continues to rise, with more than 20,000 visitors a year, including Open Days, guided school and tour groups and the increasingly popular Christmas Lights display.

Need to know – Entry is free via the Service Gate at 168 Fernberg Road, Paddington (pedestrian access only, there is no onsite parking). All guests are required to check in via the 'Check In Qld' app and follow the Government House COVID-19 protocols.

Good to know - This year there is no requirement for pre-bookings or registrations.
