Kids can bring their dinosaur building and crafting skills to Queensland Museum Rail Workshops' fantastic Design-A-Dino school holiday program from September 14 - 29 in Ipswich.

Let your imagination run wild with these science-based, creative dinosaur activities, which are suitable for all ages and abilities:

Build Jigasarus, the giant dinosaur:
Help piece together Jigasarus and recreate how it might have looked tens of thousands of years ago.

Designo-sarus challenge:
Use science and creative inspiration to craft your own dinosaur to take home with the materials provided.

Kids activities at Design-A-Dino Queensland Museum Rail Workshops

Stand Tall against the biggest of them all:
Measure up against the replica fossil leg of the Muttaburrasaurus, an 8m long giant!

Pyjama Party - Snuggle in for Storytime:
Chillax-asuras in the Relaxing Room with dinosaur themed films on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Pyjama Party events start at 1pm and are ticketed - be sure to book here

While you're there, take time out to explore all of the fantastic interactive train and rail displays throughout the museum, which is open daily from 9.30am-4pm.

*Design-A-Dino activities, running from 10am-2pm, are free to attend with general admission.
