Big Picnic

Roma Street Parkland

Brisbane's green oasis of designer gardens and sprawling lawns is turning 20 years, and in celebratory style, Roma Street Parkland is throwing a weekend-long Big Picnic on Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11, 2021.

Picnickers can take up residency across Celebrations Lawn’s sun-dappled green and rejoice in the biggest sub-tropical Parkland in the southern hemisphere.

Some of Brisbane's best food trucks will be on hand, or indulge in a specially curated picnic hamper from the Parkland's Garden Room Café. Of course, BYO spreads are welcome too.

In addition, attendees are welcome to wine and dine on the Parkland’s green, and say cheers to 20 years of Roma Street Parkland, with the outdoor venue licensed from 10am until 8pm.

So throw down a rug, relax on the lawn with family and friends, and sway to the sounds of Gypsy Jazz, with a stellar line-up of musical talents including Jazz Australis, Javier Spicer Trio, Mimi & the Cats and more.

Nice to know - Dogs are welcome in the Parkland but must remain on a lead at all times.
