Factfulness with Anna Rosling
State Library of Queensland
Factfulness with Anna Rosling is an inspiring and revelatory evening in the State Library of Queensland's Talking Ideas series, on May 22.
Filled with lively anecdotes and moving stories this event will be a hopeful and fact-based booster shot for a doom saying, world-weary population.
Factfulness was written by the late Hans Rosling, Professor of International Health and a man who made data sing, together with his son and daughter-in-law and long-time collaborators Ola and Anna Rosling. The instant New York Times best-seller offers a radical new explanation of why we humans so often get the answers wrong when asked simple questions about global trends and reveals the ten instincts that distort our perspective.
Nice to know - The Library Shop will have Factfulness available for sale at the event.
Need to know - Come along early and enjoy live music, hot snacks, cold beer and wine at the Library Café Bar.
