Musical meteor, astonishing pianist and contemporary composer, Hania Rani, will perform in Australia for the first time at Brisbane's heritage-listed Princess Theatre on Sunday, May 7, 2023.

Hania Rani

Hania Rani is one of the most successful and intriguing pianists in the world right now with sold out shows across Europe, as well as a sell out Canadian tour.

Hania Rani

A transcendent talent, the classically-trained pianist is able to evoke the sparseness of her native Polish Bieszczady mountain landscape while teasing enough latent energy to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Hania Rani

Inspired to study classical music, Hania was introduced to jazz and electronics at music school, widening her interests and as she puts it, "mixing Chopin and Schostakovitch with Dave Brubeck and Moderat’. Other inspirations include composers such as Max Richter, Esbjorn Svensson, Miles Davis, Nils Frahm, Murcof, Portico Quartet, Radiohead, and even The Beatles.

‘Emotional rather than intellectual, genre-bending and boundary-breaking, rhythmic rather than atonal, creating a world that the listener is swept up in.’ FORBES

Don't miss this special performance when Hania Rani performs at The Princess Theatre on May 7, 2023 for one-night-only.
