Join The Queensland Choir in concert at St John's Cathedral on Sunday, May 14 to commemorate the coronation of King Charles.

A week after the King's coronation in Westminster Abbey, The Queensland Choir will present a glorious programme of majestic music in the appropriately splendid surrounds of St John's Cathedral.

Featuring guest soloists - Leanne Kenneally-Warnock (soprano), Shikara Ringdahl (mezzo-soprano), Sebastian Maclaine (tenor) and Leon Warnock (baritone) - accompanied by Sinfonia of St Andrews, the concert will include music by Mozart, Handel, Parry, Vaughan Williams and Elgar.

Conducted by Kevin Power, the Choir will perform Parry's I was Glad, Handel's Coronation Anthem No 3 in D (The King Shall Rejoice),Vaughan Williams The Old 100th, Elgar's Land of Hope & Glory from Coronation Ode, and other works in the programme of music composed for and associated with coronations.
