Namu Cafe

Lutwyche

NAMU CAFE HAS MOVED TO TARRAGINDI AND BEEN REPLACED BY VEGA CAFE.

An old Queenslander has been given a new lease of life with the opening of Namu, a cosy child and dog-friendly cafe in Lutwyche.

Namu Cafe, Lutwyche

Perched on the corner of Chalk and Marita Streets, the light-filled breezy cafe boasts high ceilings, huge windows that overlook parkland, pops of greenery, and plenty of timber.

Namu Cafe, Lutwyche

Namu means timber in Korean, and as well as stunning, polished floorboards, the cafe features handcrafted timber tables made by the owner.

Coffee on pour is by Grinders, served along with delicious brunch fare and sweet treats. All-day fare ranges from wholesome acai bowls with berries and banana topped with house-made granola, and eggs benedict on sourdough with grilled mushrooms and hollandaise sauce, to a Breakfast Platter piled with poached eggs, bacon, halloumi, avocado, salad, beetroot hummus, house made granola with yoghurt, and sourdough.

In addition, there's a selection of fresh, healthy salads, or indulge with something sweet like the cafe's crunchy brioche waffles topped with vanilla ice-cream, caramelised banana and berries, a frosted cupcake, chocolate brownie, or freshly-baked banana bread.

As well as coffee, the cafe offers chai latte, hot chocolate and smoothies.
