The National Band of New Zealand is landing on Australian shores for the first time in its 70-year history, performing with soloist Philip Cobb at the Salvation Army Brisbane City Temple on Friday, September 8.

Philip Cobb became the Principal Trumpet of the London Symphony Orchestra at age 21. He currently holds the position of Principal Trumpet at the BBC Symphony and performs regularly as a soloist around the world.

Musical Director David Bremner is no stranger to this world-class ensemble having selected them via a competitive audition process. Bremner confirms, “every position is scrutinised, and the final selection is something we are all proud of."
