Boggo Road Gaol is celebrating the women of Queensland - past, present and future - as part of Queensland Women's Week and International Women's Day.

Starting on Sunday, March 3, the Boggo Road Gaol Prison Players will re-enact the prisoners of Women's Division during the gaol’s regular History Tour.

On Wednesday, March 6, the prison is treating local mums and bubs to a special morning tea (complimentary with the History Tour) with colouring-in activities for kids.

And lastly, on International Women’s Day, Friday, March 8, visitors can join the Prison Players for another authentic re-enactment and morning tea (with the daily History Tour) catered in classic inmate style.
