Villages of Brisbane - Sandgate

‘Villages of Brisbane – Sandgate’ is an exciting new event that is part of the Brisbane Open House program this year, offering visitors the chance to explore and discover the charming historic bayside village on Sunday, August 21, 2022.

The jam-packed day of events will include 9 buildings to explore, 5 walks (guided & self-guided) to discover, a full program in the Town Hall and many other activities and activations throughout the day, including the Urban Sketchers and a pop up exhibition at the Full Moon Hotel.

Buildings participating in the program are the Full Moon Hotel, Jeays Hardware - celebrating 100 years, Sacred Heart Catholic School, Sacred Heart Church, Shorncliffe Railway Station, Sandgate Museum, Sandgate Town Hall. St Margaret’s Anglican Church & Atkin Memorial, and St Patrick’s College.

Good to know - There will be FREE loop vintage buses operating around Sandgate and Shorncliffe on the day.
