The Lavender Cottage

Gordon Park

The Lavender Cottage is a charming gift shop and cafe in Gordon Park, providing expertly brewed Merlo coffee along with delicious homemade treats, and much more.

The pretty purple cafe on Thistle Street is dog-friendly with dining available on the footpath out front, while inside the cute cottage is chock-a-block with gorgeous gifts and homewares, from luxe candles and artisan jewellery, to tea pots, plant pots and plenty more.

Have a browse, then enjoy a cup of coffee and a bite to eat, with an array of house made treats of offer such as bliss balls, muffins, mango coconut bread, cookies, caramel brownies, vegan chocolate cake, carrot cake or gluten-free apple and rhubarb cake.

For something more substantial, there's a concise all day breakfast menu that includes savoury muffins (bacon, cheese and sundried tomato), pumpkin, spinach and feta frittata, and smashed avo on toast with feta and spiced homemade dukkah. Plus, there's a selection of toasted sandwiches on offer.

In addition, you'll find a range of house made meals to take home and reheat, like vege lasagne, Madras beef curry or mild butter chicken.

Besides coffee, there's chai, hot chocolate, lavender latte, milkshakes, smoothies, Hrvst St juices, and non-alcoholic mocktails by Monday Distillery.
