Andonis Cafe & Bar
Andonis is a hidden gem of a café and bar tucked away on an industrial side street in Yeerongpilly serving top-notch fare for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
This sleek café features minimalist décor inside, while outside a large, patio provides plenty of seating for al fresco dining.
All-day breakfast fare includes eggs benedict, breakfast burgers and a triple decker breakfast stack of maple marinated bacon, Angus beef patty, American cheese, in house pickles and secret sauce on an English muffin.
Sweet tooths will be satiated with an Eiffel Tower of buttermilk pancakes and drool-worthy waffles such as Bueno Heaven – warm waffles topped with chocolate ice-cream, crushed Oreo biscuits, Bueno stick, seasonal berries and an injection of Nutella.
Lunch and dinner dishes range from delicious salads and gourmet burgers to pesto pasta, juicy steaks and slow-cooked lamb ribs; while vegetarian options include the Naked Vegan Cheese Burger with veggie patty, soy cheese, pickles, and salad served with sweet potato fries.
Andonis café is kid-friendly with meals for children consisting of scrambled eggs and bacon, buttermilk pancakes with ice cream, and bacon and egg muffins with hash brown.
Coffee on pour is roasted locally by Fonzie Abbott. Otherwise, there’s Tea Drop specialty teas, fresh juices, milkshakes and smoothies. Andonis is licensed with a concise wine list of red and white wines, served along with craft beer (including a brew by Fonzie Abbott) and dessert cocktails like Toblerone and Nutella martinis – made with vodka, Frangelico, milk and Nutella.
