At Blackwood Cafe & Espresso Bar on Mitchelton's thriving Blackwood St precinct, great food and great coffee are the order of the day.
A whimsical mural sweeps across the back wall of the cafe, where there are lounges, cushions and tables both indoors, and outside beneath the trees.
The menu is packed with a wide range of choices - gluten free cakes, haloumi stacks, french toast, calamari and chips and fresh salads. As well as a well stocked display cabinet filled with ciabattas, biscuits, slices and wraps.

Blackwood Cafe & Espresso Bar's drinks include frappes, smoothies, milkshakes, pots of loose leaf Origin tea, and locally roasted Elixir Coffee in all shapes and sizes, including take away.
