VVALDMEER HAS CLOSED IN MARCH 2024.

Vvaldmeer is a light and airy café found in the heart of Highgate Hill offering top-notch breakfast fare and specialty coffee.

Perched on the corner of Gladstone Road and Prospect Terrace, Vvaldmeer is smart and modern with a minimalist décor including handcrafted furniture and pops of greenery.

The all-day menu features standard breakfast fare with a twist such as avocado and smoked labne on sourdough with fermented chilli and basil oil, and huevos rancheros – fried eggs served on corn tortillas with house made salsa, queso fresco, coriander and house-smoked bacon.

Other standouts include salmon confit served with a salad of burnt watermelon, cucumber and smoked labne, and black rice porridge – coconut sago, goji berries, lychee and pandan crumble.

Nice to know – Vvaldmeer is dog friendly.

The menu may have changed since our visit.
