Emporium Rock'n'roll Milk Bar
Old Petrie Town
Emporium Rock 'n Roll Milk Bar is a real blast from the past, ideally located in the historic setting of Old Petrie Town.
On Friday nights, visitors can step back in time to the 1950's at the weekly classic car event which brings the place to life with music and dancing. Then again on Sunday mornings, the Old Petrie Markets transform the street into a hub of colour and creativity.
The outdoor verandah at Emporium Rock 'n Roll Milk Bar has plenty of seating from which to observe the action on the street. Indoors, Elvis and Marilyn fans will especially appreciate the music memorabilia adorning the walls and maybe even pull up a corner booth beside Betty Boop to enjoy the retro vibe.
On the menu are classic burgers, hot dogs, lasagne, chicken schnitzel, sandwiches and quiche. For drinks, there are old fashioned milk shakes, spiders, coffee, juices and soft drinks.
And for dessert, there are banana splits, ice cream boats, fruit salad parfaits and home made apple pie.
Families with children are most welcome with a tempting kids menu on offer featuring nuggets, fish bites or sausages and chips.
In a nutshell - Relive the fun of the rock 'n roll era complete with old fashioned milk shakes, classic burgers and toe tapping music.
Nice to know - Parking is available in Old Petrie Town car park.
