Working at your own pace, this uses a combination of low to moderate intensity moves and step aerobics. Registrations is essential. From beginners to advanced and specialised seniors classes.

Aqua yoga - Aqua yoga is a low-impact form of exercise that supports the body while still providing a great workout due to the water resistance. Many yoga poses that you do in a class can be adapted for the pool, sometimes using the pool walls as if it were the studio floor.

Pool safety

All Council pools are participating venues of the Royal Life Saving Queensland's Keep Watch @ Public Pools program, which aims to increase children's water safety through parental supervision.

For 0-5 year olds and non-swimmers, a parent or guardian must be in the water at all times within arms' reach of the child/non-swimmer.

For 6-10 year olds, constant active supervision is required by a parent or guardian. Be prepared to get wet and enter the water with this age group.

For 11-14 year olds, parents or guardians must physically check on children on a regular basis.

Need to know - All Council pools honour the Queensland Government Companion Card, allowing free entry for anyone accompanying a person with disability who requires attendant care support.

Opening hours vary - visit Council's website, ask at your local pool or phone 3403 888 to check the local pool's opening hours.
