Billai Dhagun Track

Boondall Wetlands

Updated: Mar 08, 2025

The other worldly level 2km walk, Billai Dhagun Track, which starts from the informative Boondall Wetlands Environment Centre, is an all encompassing snapshot of wetlands life.

Making its way though forests of wispy casuarinas, rust coloured marshlands, mangroves, salt flats and paperbark tea trees with a brief detour to a bird hide overlooking Cabbage Tree Creek, the circuit is also dotted with indigenous totems relating to local flora and fauna by artist Ron Hurley.

This track also connects to the Boondall Wetlands bikeway, a fantastic separate trail through the reserve coming from Nudgee Rd and beyond that, following Kedron Brook all the way back to Nundah.
