Sasquatch Bar & Eatery

Chermside

Sasquatch Bar & Eatery in Chermside combines two of the greatest flavours - craft beer and a charcoal grill - to create one prime hangout.

Nestled on the corner of Gympie Road and Hall Street, this bar and eatery is a hit with the locals.

The menu is inspired by some of the owner’s favorite things; charcoal meats and simple finger food, as well as an abundance of on-tap craft beer.

The simplistic and industrial décor was influenced by the owner’s trip through the Rockies in Canada. Hence the inventive name, Sasquatch, from their epic Saskatchewan adventure.

Relax in the comfort of the air conditioning in one of the booths, bar tables or dining tables inside. Alternatively, watch the world go by on one of the ambient outdoor tables.

Sasquatch can service all your dining needs; serving up breakfast, lunch and dinner for your enjoyment. For breakfast, sip on Cleanskin Coffee Co’s signature blend and munch on a tasty jaffel.

Lunch takes the shining glory on their menu of tasty delights, serving their extravagant ‘heroes’, which are bread rolls filled with meats from the grill and a whole lot of other fresh and delicious ingredients. The Sticky Maggi Pork Belly is overflowing with grilled pork belly, coriander, salted carrots and crispy onion. Prefer seafood? Opt for the Grilled Prawn, a hero stacked with grilled prawns, avocado, cucumber, iceberg lettuce and Marie Rose sauce. Vegetarian options are also available.

There is plenty of mouthwatering sides and snacks on offer, including Fried Chicken Karaage with Spicy Mayo. Finishing with a range of Waffle Cones for dessert.

The Sasquatch drinks menu includes 20 bottled beers, eight finely selected beer taps as well as a range of wines and spirits.

Need to know – Street parking is available down Hall Street. Kitchen closes for lunch at 2.30pm – 5.30pm. Kitchen closes for dinner at 10.30pm. *Opening hours correct at time of visiting in Jan 2017.

Nice to know – Live entertainment takes place some evenings inside the bar.
