Revel Brewing Co

Bulimba

Revel Brewing Co is living up to its playful name; brewing craft beer, wood firing pizza and bringing good vibes to the riverside suburb of Bulimba.

The modern, industrial brewery has a beer garden out the front and a seating area inside next to the huge beer canisters. There’s a tiled wall of beer taps behind the counter with everything from pale ale to English stout. You can even watch your pizza cooking away in the large wood-fired oven just behind the bar.

The menu consists of pizza, pizza, and more pizza. Order a cheesy flatbread, a classic pizza concoction or one of Revel Brewing Co’s unique creations. They also create kid’s pizzas and a couple of desserts.

Dig into their signature Carne pizza which is a flatbread topped with tomato, mozzarella, cacciatore, bacon, slow cooked lamb and a BBQ sauce drizzle. What’s unique about Revel Brewing’s pizzas is that the wood-fired oven is used to create each and every element of their pizzas – including the slow-cooked lamb and even the tomatoes for the tomato base.

There are several brews on tap which are explained in detail on their drinks menu. We took a particular fancy to their cider, which was created using Stanthorpe’s famous Sutton’s apples – handpicked by the owners themselves.

Need to know – Street parking is available nearby.

Nice to know – Revel Brewing Co is introducing a menu of delicious bar snacks. Keep your eye out for a red wine IPA that's in the works...
