Bille Brown Theatre

Barbara and the Camp Dogs is a rock ‘n’ roll road trip playing at Bille Brown Theatre from May 1 to 25.

Barbara and her kick-ass band want to hit the big time, but it’s not easy, especially when the only booking they can get is a pub gig.  But boisterous Barbara and her band are determined.

When a family tragedy beckons, Barbara and her cousin René (a fellow muso) set off on a long and winding motorbike adventure from Sydney, through Darwin, and finally to Katherine.

Part buddy comedy, part family drama, and part rock gig, this funny, moving musical with original songs sold out its first season at Sydney’s Belvoir Theatre. Now it’s Brisbane’s turn!
