Siam Pung
West End
Bringing traditional Thai treats from the street stalls of Bangkok to the streets of Brisbane's West End is Siam Pung.
Together with sibling Siam Samrarn Thai restaurant, Siam Pung bookends the entrance to The Markets Shopping Centre.Inside the cafe, customers can find a cosy corner or venture onto the covered patio decked out with rattan chairs, timber tables and water feature.
Not your ordinary dessert restaurant, Siam Pung specialises in sweet snacks like coconut rice cakes filled with sweet corn, taro and shallots, pancake rolls with pandan coconut custard or pork mince filling, deep fried breadsticks or steamed bread with pandan custard and pork congee (rice porridge).
As well as authentic Thai coffee, you'll find fresh juices, frappes and bubble teas in a variety of flavours: coconut, strawberry, banana, lychee, lime, peach, plum, mango and more.
