Toowong Cemetery, spread over 44 hectares, is the largest cemetery in Queensland and the final resting place of 120,000 souls - some famous and many infamous. With leafy trees and rolling hills, this picturesque burial ground is frequented by joggers and dog walkers during the day, but few dare to visit after dark.

The Original - Visit Brisbane’s biggest cemetery and walk among the graves and tombs in this city of the dead.Hear ghost stories including the Black Widow, The Angel & the Black Prince.

Located on 27 acres of land beside the Brisbane river, South Brisbane Cemetery (also known as Dutton Park Cemetery) is heritage listed and is located four kilometres from the CBD. The first burial took place in 1870. There are approximately 19,500 graves in the cemetery.

South Brisbane Cemetery Tour - Almost 100,000 souls lie at rest here …and forty-two do not – the prisoners hanged at the notrious Boggo Road Gaol across the road. Hear stories of hungry ghosts, criminals, vicious killers, floods & bloody murder.

Need to know -  Brisbane Ghost Tours are based on research that comes from archives, libraries, texts, personal diaries, recollections & interviews with real people to capture their experiences.
