Thalassina Seafood

West End

Thalassina Seafood is an old school Greek fish'n'chip shop that brings a taste of nostalgia with a contemporary twist to West End.

Located in an historic store, with a stunning mural painted along one side, Thalassina Seafood elicits memories of the Greek fish'n'chip shops that were dotted throughout Brisbane during the 1950's and 60's.

Thalassina West End

With only a couple of tables, Thalassina is mainly takeaway, but it's a short stroll from the river at Orleigh Park - a great spot to enjoy some fish'n'chips alfresco. All fish can be ordered battered, fried or grilled, with the option to add your own extras like calamari, prawn cutlets, corn jacks or potato  or as part of a Fish Meal which includes chips, tartare sauce, salad of choice (try the Greek) and lemon.

You can also order hot seafood platters for 1 to 4 people, and these include seafood bites, sea scallops, prawn cutlets, seafood sticks and calamari as well as fish pieces. More blasts from the past can be found on the Snack menu, which includes battered savs, chicko rolls, kabana, dim sums and crumbed sausage.

Good to know - As well as cooked seafood, Thalassina has a selection of fresh seafood available, including prawns, fish, crabs and Moreton Bay bugs.
