The UM Australia team invites you to join them in Noosa for the 7th running of  UM Australia, a three-day, 515 km annual endurance race held on the Sunshine Coast.

UM Australia goes for 36 hours, starting and finishing at iconic Noosa Heads beach, in front of the Noosa Heads Surf Lifesaving Club.

Ultraman Australia

This event attracts athletes who seek to explore the extreme in physical and mental abilities, is limited to 50 athletes on an invitation-only basis and pre-Covid it attracted participants from around the world. From May 8-10, up to 40 athletes from across Australia will come together in Noosa to participate in the event.

Ultraman Australia

Day one starts with a 10km ocean swim, followed by a 140km bike ride through the spectacular Sunshine Coast Hinterland. The day must be completed within 12 hours. Day two is a 280km bike ride, and Day three sees the athletes up early for a double marathon – that’s an 84.3km run. The last section of the run is along Noosa Beach, and the finish line is outside the Noosa Heads Surf Life Saving Club.

Ultraman Australia

The 2021 field includes a number of returning athletes, but most are new athletes to the distance. There are 9 females in the field and 26 males. The youngest athlete is 27 and there are 7 athletes in their 50s.

Good to know - This is the longest race of that distance in Australia.

So, why not come along to see the event and spend the weekend in beautiful Noosa.
