ABBEY MEDIEVAL FESTIVAL HAS SOLD OUT.

Travel back into history at the Abbey Medieval Festival, Queensland’s largest Medieval re-enactment weekend, with two action-filled days of adventure on the grounds of Abbeystowe, Caboolture on July 8 and 9, 2023.

Interact with re-enactors as you explore medieval life in over 40 encampments presenting 600 years of history, with live demonstrations of craftmanship, animals, and daily life.

Tickle your tastebuds and spend your coins in the Medieval markets, with over 65 medieval-inspired food, drink and retail stalls, or join your fellow lords and ladies for a cool drink at the Medieval Stag Inn or Viking Mead Heorot Hall.

The Festival offers fun-filled activities for the whole family with Kids Kingdom, puppet shows, arts and crafts, and medieval games, plus be entertained throughout the day with jugglers, jesters, roving performers, and musicians.

With armoured knights on horseback, the clash of swords at the castle siege, the boom of cannons firing, the bustling Medieval marketplace and more,  Abbey Medieval Festival is a unforgettable experience for all ages.

Need to know - A courtesy bus service from Caboolture Train Station to the Abbey and return will be provided on Saturday and Sunday. The first bus leaves Caboolture to Abbey at 7:45am. Buses run throughout the day in 30 minute time slots with the last bus departing Caboolture at 5:15pm and the last bus departing Abbey is 5:45pm.

There is also a 'Book a Bus' service available from one of 15 locations around Brisbane, for direct transfer and return to your suburb.

In addition, The Abbey Museum has secured a property nearby (on Pumicestone Rd) where patrons can park and be transported by free buses to the Festival site. (If you’re a local you may know this as the old Farm Fantastic site).
