Experience a spooky candlelight concert at Brisbane's infamous Boggo Road Gaol on Wednesday, October 27, 2021.

The notorious, heritage-listed prison will be bathed in candlelight for this other-worldy experience, as a string quartet performs classical Halloween-themed compositions in the historic, haunted courtyard.

Boggo Road Gaol

For this intimate performance, Candlelight Strings (courtesy of Gold Coast Chamber Orchestra) will play an ethereal selection of music from some of the best known composers in history including Dmitri Shostakovich, Franz Schubert and Camille Saint-Saëns.

The quartet will also perform creepy hits like Michael Jackson's Thriller, Hedwig's Theme from Harry Potter, and the theme songs from Ghostbusters, The Addams Family, Stranger Things and more.

Nice to know - These candlelight concerts are suitable for ages 8+. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Need to know -  Gates open 60 minutes prior to the concert start time and late entry is not permitted.
