The Owlery Cafe

Samford Village

The Owlery Cafe has flown into Samford Village, located next door to the Harry Potter-inspired shop, The Store of Requirement.

Named after the room atop Hogwarts Castle's West Tower, where the school and student's owls reside, this delightful cafe is spread across three buildings, each one unique.

Exterior of The Owlery Samford

Formerly known as The Flying Nun Cafe, the old purple church has been repainted and refitted with an assortment of Harry Potter-inspired paraphernalia including sorting hats, cauldrons, and lots of owls.

Customers can dine inside the small cafe beside The Store of Requirement, which is also where you order your food and drink from,  as well as al fresco with plenty of outdoor seating provided.

When the middle building isn't being used for potion making and wand decorating workshops, patrons are welcome to dine in there, or head to the end of the deck where you'll find a much bigger space featuring two character-filled rooms with stunning leadlight windows, a fireplace, leather armchairs and a couch.

The cafe offers light eats like waffles, spinach and ricotta rolls, toasted sandwiches such as ham and cheese or chicken pesto, plus delicious treats - think butterscotch muffins, banana bread, caramel pecan slice and chocolate frogs.
