The Cat Empire with Queensland Symphony Orchestra show has sold out!

Queensland Symphony Orchestra (QSO) and The Cat Empire are set to perform a show-stopping concert, for one night only, at the Fortitude Music Hall on September 19, 2024.

The legendary Australian band The Cat Empire will join forces with QSO for an electrifying performance, featuring their most beloved tunes and exuberant new music.

The Cat Empire

Illuminating stages across the world for the past two decades, The Cat Empire has captivated millions with their high-energy performances and explosive sounds. Felix Riebl and Ollie McGill, the driving forces behind the band, recently welcomed bassist Grace Barbe, drummer Daniel Farrugia and percussionist Neda Rahmani into the Empire.

The Cat Empire

With new influences, new members, and lead singer Riebl’s unique sense of musical style, The Cat Empire creates a sound that is truly international - an exciting fusion of Afro-Cuban, Seychellois Kreol, Brazilian and flamenco.

World-class flamenco artists, Richard Tedesco, Johnny Tedesco and Chantelle Cano, will join The Cat Empire and QSO for this unmissable concert, showcasing a vibrant orchestral reinterpretation of The Cat Empire’s new songs and classic hits, including HelloHow to Explain, Days Like These and many more.

The Cat Empire

The Cat Empire’s orchestral tour will continue to thrill and captivate audiences with a high-energy and spirted live performance like you’ve never seen before!
