Milton was one of the earliest areas outside the original town of Brisbane to be settled by Europeans in the early 1850s and the walk reveals the suburb’s fascinating history from early settlement to modern day.

'Milton Greet' Walking Tour

From past historic residences and places of worship to sports venues and public artworks, the guided tour shines a spotlight on some of Milton’s hidden spaces and local gems.

Highlights include the World War II Air Raid Shelter, Milton House, Suncorp Stadium, the Cemetery Memorial Reserve and Afghanistan Memorial Garden.

Good to know - This is the 14th walk to be added to the Brisbane Greeters program since tours began in 2012.  

Need to know - The tour takes between two to three hours to complete and can be easily adjusted to accommodate attendee needs. Maximum group size of  6 (including children)
