Dugandan Hotel

The Dugandan Hotel in Boonah is not just an old school classic Aussie pub but it is also possibly the most dog friendly hotel in South East Queensland. 

A magnet for weekend day trippers, visitors and motorcyclists, the historic hotel, which has been serving thirsty patrons on this corner since 1913 (the building dates from the late 1880's), features a wraparound verandah and beer garden known as 'The Chook Yard'.

Open for lunch and dinner daily (and all day Sundays), 'The Dugie', as it's affectionately known by locals, serves up traditional pub fare and country classics, as well as craft beers on tap and a selection of 30 wines including a selection from local winery Sirromet.

Family-friendly, the pub has a games room, playground and well-priced menu for kids, while four-legged family friends are more than welcome, with a dedicated doggie food menu too.
