Josie North is a boutique coffee nook by day, and wine bar by night, tucked away down a retro arcade in the heart of Toowong - a secret retreat from the crowds at Toowong Shopping Centre.
The minimalist white space has communal tables inside and a couple of round tables and stools outside, but don't be fooled by the stark ambience, for Josie North offers some seriously good drops of wine, bar snacks, beer and cocktails.
The small selection of small batch wines are available by the glass, carafe or bottle whilst other drinks include Aperol Spritz, Negroni, Peroni red, Brooke's gin + tonic and Mr black coffee Amaro.
The food menu includes focaccia with cultured butter; king fish crudo, lemon & chilli; braised lamb, broadbean salad & parmesaon or chicken cotoletta panino, iceberg lettuce & truffle chilli oil, as well as Josephine north x seven seeds tiramisu.
