Your adventure awaits at Holiday fun! Let your imagination soar on an awe-inspiring journey at State Library these school holidays with a wide range of free activities and low-cost workshops that the whole family will enjoy, from December 9 to January 21, 2024 from 10am-3pm daily.

What’s on:

Circa Academy* – fun circus workshops for every level and age group.

Pinball masters* – build your very own old school pinball game to take home.

The Outhouse* – join Hope and Luna in this feel-good theatre show for all ages.

Puppet town – come visit puppet town and create your very own puppet.

Your turn! – roll the dice and master your moves with games for all ages.

Beyond the selfie* – explore the finer points of taking great photos.

Claymation creation* – combine clay, storytelling, and stop motion animation.

Scavenger hunt - find clues, solve puzzles and explore the secrets of the library.

Working Country story station – make and decorate your very own rodeo hat.

Sniffing colours* – challenge your ideas in this hands-on, nose-on, creative workshop.

Style captains* – design your own stylish cap and get ready to make a statement.

Plaster pals* – see what you can create in this plaster bandage sculpture workshop. 

Tech playground* – discover the secrets of AR filters, projection and VR headsets.

Artist books unveiled* – uncover artist books and create your own. 

Reading room – the perfect place to unwind with picture books and city views.
