Playing with Light

Ipswich Art Gallery

Playing with Light is a fun, full-body, interactive exhibition for children now on at the Ipswich Art Gallery until April 28, 2019.

This exciting exhibition allows visitors to explore the many ways in which science and physics illuminate our big bright world with light, lasers and lenses.

Playing with Light IAG

With over 22 interactive exhibits, children aged 4 to 12 years will be entertained for hours as they delight their visual senses and test their ingenuity. Kids can try to sneak past a laser light security block, ‘paint’ with infrared light, step inside a giant kaleidoscope, make a powerful telescope, freeze their shadow on a wall and much more.
