Micro Museum
Museum of Brisbane
A dedicated space for creative kids of all ages is opening at Museum of Brisbane on March 22, just in time for school holidays!
The brand-new Micro Museum will bring big ideas, imagination and inquisitiveness to life, providing a colourful and creative space filled with immersive experiences and interactive activities for kids.

Micro Museum is a permanent addition to Museum of Brisbane, offering year-round immersive and interactive entertainment, as well as special drop-in or booked activities during school holidays, such as imaginative collages, badge-making and toy creation, offered at no or low cost.

At Museum of Brisbane's Micro Museum, pint-sized curators are encouraged to get hands-on and create their very own Micro Museum where each small piece tells a unique story.
Kids can select, sort, arrange and present their curated collections from a huge range of mini vintage and second-hand treasures inspired by the upcoming Precious exhibition at Museum of Brisbane.

From multi-sensory categorisation by colour, material or texture to form and function, kids can reveal stories about themselves, their families and Brisbane and try their hand at being a museum curator for a day.

The inviting and inspiring area offers hours of stimulating enjoyment for all ages, not just for little ones, welcoming multi-generational collaboration to pique curiosity and discovery.
