Brisbane’s oldest and grandest shopping arcade, Brisbane Arcade, is concluding its 100th year and centenary celebrations with a dazzling “A Centenary Christmas” wonderland, on display until Saturday, 28th December.

Located in the heart of Brisbane’s Queen Street Mall, the much loved Brisbane Arcade has been transformed into a striking, gold-themed display featuring more than 1,000 meters of sparkling gold LED lights, around 12,000 individually attached baubles, over 70 luxe gold bows, more than 40 elaborate wreaths in various sizes, lush garlands, and 500 meters of custom monogrammed “Brisbane Arcade” ribbon—all contributing to a truly enchanting scene.

Christmas trees throughout the Arcade brim with baubles and handcrafted acrylic ornaments that capture the essence of Brisbane Arcade’s unique retailers, popular with Christmas shoppers. These ornaments include miniature sunglasses, bags, dresses, rings, hats, cups and saucers, and even clocks.

Adding a memorable touch to this centennial celebration, Rosie the Reindeer, Brisbane Arcade’s beloved Christmas mascot, has received a glamorous update. Adorned with a coat of gold and silver mini baubles, and draped in gold chains and stars, Rosie creates a stunning centenary tribute.

The annual bespoke festive installation has garnered a reputation for offering “Brisbane’s best” Christmas shopping experience, making you feel as if you've stepped into one of Europe or London’s best shopping arcades at Christmas.
