GOMA
Updated: Oct 29, 2025
The QAGOMA Store’s beloved Christmas Design Market is back and bigger than ever this year, taking place on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 November at the Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA).
This festive shopping event will showcase over 80 of Brisbane’s most talented makers and creatives, offering visitors the chance to discover and purchase unique, locally made gifts just in time for the holiday season.
From ceramics, jewellery, and homewares to clothing, stationery, and décor, the market celebrates the diversity and craftsmanship of Queensland’s design community.
Featured stallholders include favourites such as Paper Boat Press, Delvene Cockatoo-Collins, Monte Lupo, Barbara Heath, Paper Hands, Ossom, illy’s wall, Katherine Mahoney Ceramics, Aqua Door Designs, Oh Hey Lovely, and The Sewloist.
To add to the festive cheer, the first 100 visitors each day will receive a free sample bag of goodies from the QAGOMA Store — a perfect way to kick off your Christmas shopping.
Whether you're looking for thoughtful gifts or simply want to soak up the creative atmosphere, the GOMA Christmas Design Market is a must-visit event this November.
While you're there, don't forget to visit the QAGOMA Store for a huge range of books, art merchandise and designer gifts!
And that's not all! Why not make a day of it and visit Archie Moore: kith and kin, a jaw-dropping free exhibition at GOMA racing the artist's First Nations Australian and convict British and Scottish connections spanning more than 2400 generations over 65,000 years and ‘Under a Modern Sun: Art in Queensland 1930s–1950s’, an expansive free exhibition of more than 140 paintings, sculptures, photographs and works of decorative art capturing Queensland in the mid-twentieth century at QAG.
