Queensland's largest outdoor sculpture festival is bringing 50+ awe-inspiring large scale sculptures to the stunning natural surrounds of Currumbin Beach from September 8-17, 2023.

Now in its 21st year, SWELL Sculpture Festival is a must visit for all ages. Offering unique experiences, guided twilight walks through the artworks, artist talks next to the sculptures and artist led workshops, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

The Storyfest Pop-up library for kids will be open daily from 9am - 4pm during the main event at the Currumbin Alley car park, with thousands of free books being given away. Little aspiring artists can participate in the special online workshops from SWELL artists.

This year the SWELL Smalls Gallery will feature a new and exciting program of live events from visual arts and literary masterclasses to live music, spoken word experiences and creative culinary adventures. Most of these events are ticketed so make sure to book in advance to reserve yourself a spot.

While you're there take the family for a meal at any of the cool cafes and eateries in the area. Just around the corner is the iconic Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and across Currumbin creek you'll find Palm Beach Parklands, a kids paradise.
