The Made Local Market returns to the Brisbane Showgrounds in time for Christmas with its largest indoor handmade and design market, for two huge days on Saturday, November 9 and Sunday, November 10, 2024.

Over two days the Exhibition Building in the Showgrounds precinct will come alive with creativity as over 120 local artisans and designers showcase their one-of-a-kind creations. 

From handcrafted jewellery and unique ceramics, homewares, fashion, art, and gourmet food, this is the perfect opportunity to support local talent and discover high-quality, handmade products to gift this festive season.

With a growing focus on sustainability and supporting small businesses, The Made Local Market brings together the best of south east Queensland’s creative community, offering visitors a wide range of thoughtfully made and designed products.

Bring the whole family to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, and delicious food stalls, creative workshops and family friendly music. Whether you're looking for the perfect gift, home decor, or simply want to treat yourself, there’s something for everyone!

Get to know the stories behind the products as you meet the creators themselves and learn about their craftsmanship and passion. Not just that, but you also have the opportunity to join in one of the workshops and even enjoy a spot of gin-tasting! 

Good to know -  From 3pm on Saturday 9 November will be Low Sensory Shopping Hour, slowing right down, with less crowds and low sounds so handmade lovers with sensory difficulties a chance to visit the market with a quieter and calmer vibe.
