Wizard of Oz Precinct
Warner Bros. Movie World
Warner Bros. Movie World's hotly anticipated new attraction is the world first spectacular Wizard of Oz precinct, featuring two themed family friendly coasters and iconic scenes from the movie.
Taking over what was previously the Batman/Arkham Asylum site, visitors will be able to follow the Yellow Brick Road somewhere over the rainbow and into the magical land of Oz, which will be enhanced by projection mapping, facades and sculptures to create an incredible immersive experience.
Incorporated in the precinct are Dorothy’s Farm, the Emerald City and the castle of the Wicked Witch of the West, along with two epic coaster rides, the Wicked Witch of the West and the Kansas Twister.
The Kansas Twister is the Southern Hemisphere’s first racing rollercoaster with two tracks running coasters up to 58km per hour while the Flight of the Wicked Witch is the world’s first Wizard of Oz-themed multi-type coaster, travelling at speeds of up to 67km/h.
Need to know - The two coasters are high capacity attractions with low height and age restrictions from 95cm and 4 years old to provide more family experiences.
The Wizard of Oz precinct is slated to open in late 2024.
