“Anywhere Festival is about breaking down the barriers between performers and audiences,” said Paul Osuch, founder and Artistic Director. “By taking art out of traditional venues and into everyday spaces, we create intimate and memorable  experiences that resonate with our community.”

Some highlights of this year's festival include:

Sacred-Sonic Brisbane Anywhere Festival

Sacred Sonic by Angel Strings. For one night only, St Patrick’s Cathedral is turned into a sonic and visual feast. You can also catch Angel Strings returning to the Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium in Mt Coot-tha.

The-Bear-Truth Brisbane Anywhere Festival

The Bear Truth presented at the City Botanic Gardens raises the question, who would you prefer to be trapped in the woods with - man or bear? Other big issues in Fat GirlToo Much Influence, and She Works Hard for (No) Money.

Theatre-of-the-Last-Breath Brisbane Anywhere Festival

Life and Death is a big theme this year with EDNA-GYTheatre of the Last Breath, and the return of the full improvised Lifestory.

There is also plenty of silliness from the immersive dance piece in a house (Lamps Are Hot) and the return of Shakespeare meets Star Wars in Bard Wars IV: Hope Renew’d or the cupcake-making vigilante in The Cupcake Killer to name just three of many.
