The Laidley Spring Festival bursts into colourful life for a weekend packed with colour, country charm, and non-stop family fun, from September 12-14.
For more than 60 years the festival has been an integral part of life in the beautiful little country town of Laidley. which is less than two hours drive from Brisbane.

Kick things off Friday with garden fairs, orchids, gems and Under 5’s Day – then chill out under festoon lights at the twilight picnic, with street eats, roving entertainment, live tunes and that laid-back Lockyer vibe.

The fun continues Saturday with family-friendly entertainment, including Elmo and Cookie Monster, a set from rising country star Denvah, and high-energy hip hop group Gee’d Up.

Car lovers will want to check out the gleaming classics at the Show ‘n’ Shine, while foodies can catch celebrity chef Matt Golinski cooking up seasonal delights with local produce.

On Sunday, buzz over to Forest Hill for a bee-themed morning of bubble discos, balloon twisting, face painting and artisan stalls.

So, round up the crew, pack a picnic rug and your sense of adventure and head west to make a weekend of it!
