Newstead-House Brisbane Open House 2025

Brisbane’s architecture takes centre stage as this popular weekend returns with its most expansive program in five years — giving visitors the chance to explore behind the scenes at a range of architectural icons, landmark buildings and tucked-away places across the city.

Morningside-School-of-Arts Brisbane Open House 2025

Across the weekend, 91 buildings and sites will open their doors — spanning historic homes, innovative workspaces, and cultural venues. With guided tours, talks, walks, and an After Dark program, it’s a chance to see the city from a new perspective.

Lytton-Quarantine-Station Brisbane Open House 2025

The program spans six precincts across Greater Brisbane, giving visitors the chance to explore one area in depth or journey across the city, discovering neighbourhoods both familiar and new. 

Milton-House Brisbane Open House 2025

New additions to the 2025 program include first-time access to Rivière by Aria, Milton House, Bradbury Park Playscape in Kedron, the Morningside School of Arts and St Laurence’s College.

Masonic_Memorial_Temple Brisbane Open House 2025

Returning favourites include Newstead House, Roma Street Fire Station, Brisbane Arcade, ABC Brisbane, Centenary Pool, Masonic Memorial Centre, and Government House.

Port-of-Brisbane  Brisbane Open House 2025

The program also features rare behind-the-scenes access to Brisbane Airport as it celebrates 100 years, a guided tour of Wivenhoe Dam, and an exploration of the Port of Brisbane’s expanding infrastructure.

Heritage-Lanes Brisbane Open House 2025

Visitors can also enjoy guided walks, live music, and film screenings, and enter the popular Brisbane Open House photography competition.

Roma-Street-Fire-Station Brisbane Open House 2025

Brisbane Open House offers a rare opportunity to experience the architecture that shapes Brisbane and invites the public to experience familiar places in unexpected ways.
