Jumpers and Jazz in July is Queensland’s quirkiest winter festival, featuring yarnbombing, live jazz music and stunning visual arts in and around the beautiful, historic city of Warwick from July 17-27, 2025.

From the enchanting yarn-bombed trees that transform Warwick into a winter wonderland, to the soulful tunes of jazz performances filling the air, every corner of the town will be alive with colour and sound.

Spend a day, a weekend or the whole 10 days across 9 communities with over 200 world-class events and experiences, including Picnic in the Paddock and Heritage Train Ride, along with unique activities like barn dances, Christmas in July, and even naked vines at Ridgemill Estate in Stanthorpe.

Kick off with the Jumpin Jazz Laneway Party and the Grand Auto Display, then enjoy the Local Flavours Long Lunch and Saturday Stroll n Swing in the Park, which this year will feature the exclusive Jazz Arena. Nestled within a licensed and fenced area of Leslie Park, the Jazz Arena promises a laid-back alfresco vibe with a line-up of incredible live jazz acts, boutique food vendors, and a curated drinks offering featuring Granite Belt wines, craft beers, and local gins.

The heart of the festival remains free to explore. Visitors can enjoy the much-loved Suitcase Rummage, the vibrant Celebration of Local Flavours Marketplace,Southern Downs Business Hub, Jazzy Kids in the Park activities, a community Emergency Services Heroes Display, and a range of food trucks and non-alcoholic drinks – all without spending a cent on entry,

As night falls on Saturday, be enchanted by the magical Twilight Jazz n Blues in the Park with Trombone Kellie Gang & The Soul Men. And round off the weekend with Picnic in the Park on July 27th, featuring live jazz tunes and Potters Markets.

The grande finale Picnic in the Park always attracts a crowd with scores of eclectic stalls and live jazz all day. Bask in the winter sun and listen to smooth jazz tunes with festival favourites, while sampling great food.

And that's not all - delight in the constant backdrop of vibrant yarn-bombed trees and local art displays at St Mark's heritage hall, along with a variety of free entertainment, sumptuous food, wine and plenty of coffee.
