The Made Local Market returns with Brisbane/Meanjin’s largest indoor handmade and design event to the Brisbane Showgrounds, on Saturday, July 19 and Sunday, July 20, 2025.

Over two days the John Reid Pavilion in the Showgrounds precinct will come alive with more than 120 talented stallholders, food trucks, and inspiring creative workshops. Here you will find a vibrant and curated showcase of locally made goods, perfect for discovering handcrafted winter treasures.

Visitors can explore artisan ceramics, homewares, fashion, accessories, gourmet goodies and more, all crafted by some of the best makers from across Queensland and Northern NSW.

“This market is all about celebrating creativity and community,” said a spokesperson for The Made Local Market. “We love giving makers a beautiful space to connect with customers, and visitors a chance to discover unique, high-quality handmade products in one big, inspiring venue.”

As well as over 120 stalls of handmade & locally designed products, the mid year market will also offer creative workshops for hands-on fun and a delicious line up of food trucks.
