Donnie's Brisbane
Teneriffe
Updated: May 05, 2025
Donnie's Brisbane is a cool pizzeria and bar serving up delicious New York style pizzas and cocktails on the terrace of its home in the Australian Mercantile Land & Finance Woolstores building in Teneriffe.

Seating consists of a couple of booths and dining table and chairs along the wall and the rest are bar style seats at high tables.

Start with one of the their delcious snacks, (perfect to accompany a cocktail, glass of wine or beer), such as smoked mozzarella sticks (with pinot noir marinara & fried basil); lab skewers (with agrodulce, salsa verde & caramelised yoghurt); or burrata (heirloom tomato medley, whipped almond ricotta & chilli crisp).

Must-try are Donnie's meatballs (pork & beef meatballs, tomato sugo, parmesan, arugla pesto & focaccia), while other options perfect for grazing include antipasti (mild salami, mortadella, prosciutto, oilives, giardiniera & Italian chutney) and well as a cheeseboard.

Pizzas are amongst the best in the inner city - try the Induja (tomato, induja, hot honey, fior di latte, mozzarella, whipped ricotta & basil); Mushroom (caramelised onion white base, oyster & button mushrooms, smoked mozzarella, rocket & truffle oil) or Buffalo Chicken (buffalo cream sauce, chicken, fior di latte, mozzarella, blue cheese & chives).

Cocktails at Donnie's are also a standout, with luscious choices such as Apple Bobbing (spiced rum, honeycrisp apple shrub, ginger beer, lime & bitters); Cowabunga Sour (gin, melon, coconut & matcha syrup, basil, lemon & egg whites); Twisted Tea (peach iced tea, creme de peche, black tea infused vodka & white peach puree); or coffee & doughnuts (salted caramel vodka, coffee tequila, cinnamon toast crunch de leche & espresso).

There's also a handful of carft beers on tap and a carefully curated wine list, with most wines available by the glass.
Need to know - There is onstreet metered parking on Vernon Tce (free on weekends).
