Thynne Road Cafe and Deli is the gourmet connection in a tiny historical pocket off Wynnum Road comprising the Morningside School of Arts and a triangular green park containing one of Brisbane’s remaining WWII bomb shelters.

This cafe deli is the local go-to for delicious breakfasts such as buttermilk and ricotta pancakes, potato cake with smoked salmon and spinach,balsamic mushroom bruschetta, sweet corn and haloumi fritters or open omelettes with toppings such as potato, wood-smoked ham and parmesan.

The lunch menu is just as mouth-watering with dishes such as spiced lamb burger on Turkish, the signature Thynne club sandwich, crab omelette or grilled free range chicken and organic brie on ciabetta.

They also do a great gourmet lunch catering service that is very affordable.
