Tin Cup Cafe
Beenleigh
Tin Cup Cafe is a charming rustic cafe found within the Beenleigh Historical Village in Beenleigh offering old-fashioned home baked treats and well-brewed cups of coffee, along with delicious lunch options.
Housed in the Old Beenleigh Railway Station (1885), this open air cafe provides plenty of seating on a sprawling verandah overlooking lush tropical gardens.
Set amongst the Village's historic buildings, beneath towering gum trees, Tin Cup is a lovely peaceful setting to catch up with friends over Devonshire tea, or enjoy a mid-day meal with the family. The menu includes favourites such as toasted sandwiches, chicken schnitzels and chips, and lasagne and salad; while daily lunch specials include the likes of rissoles and damper, or lamb shanks in red wine sauce.
If you're just visiting the cafe, there is no entry fee to the Village. However, it is well-worth the small entry fee to step back in time and take a tour of this fascinating and beautifully preserved time capsule of local Australian heritage.
