Experience Christmas frivolity with workshops and FREE activities for all ages, LEGO brick window displays and get involved with charitable initiatives in Uptown at the top of the Queen Street Mall.

Ben The Brick Builder will reimagine Uptown for the holiday season, creating Festive Windows from LEGO bricks that capture both timeless traditions and a modern vision of a River City Christmas.

Uptown LEGO brick Windows - Enjoy a Brisbane City Christmas tradition with three festive scenes that capture the Uptown spirit – ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, Winter Wonderland and Festive Postcard – rendered in LEGO bricks by The Brick Builder. LEGO brick Play Zone - Have a block party with LEGO bricks in Uptown’s free festive activity spaces. Stamp your own Christmas card, contribute to a large LEGO brick by numbers artwork and take a selfie with the 2.1m-high LEGO brick tree for a ‘block’-buster photo opp. Uptown, Level 2, Nov 28-Dec 24 (from 10am daily) Free

Charity Gift-Wrapping Station - Uptown is partnering with Heart Kids and the Sommerville Rural & Regional Scholarship in Memory of Kate Benjamin to provide gift-wrapping services, adding the finishing festive touch to up to three items for a donation. Make more of your Uptown moment with a visit to two immersive onsite exhibitions, open daily from 9am Monday to Friday and from 10am on Sunday. Enjoy a mesmerising multisensory experience at the colour-saturated, interactive Dopamine Land and the intriguing Titanic: The Human Story exhibition with personal items and artefacts from passengers and crew.
