Gilbert and Sullivan’s beloved Pirates of Penzance is sailing into Brisbane on December 5-8, in a brand new, semi-stage production starring theatre royalty Ben MingayBilly BourchierNina Korbe and John Wood.

A band of bumbling buccaneers, fleet-footed police, Victorian maidens, a Pirate King and tongue-twisting Major-General will take over QPAC's Concert Hall with a shipload of side-splitting humour and smooth harmonies, in a presentation of Pirates, never been seen before.

Directed by acclaimed Stuart Maunder and award-winning musical director Isaac Haywood, you'll hear all of your favourite numbers like “I am the Pirate King”, “Poor, Wandering One” and “I am the Very Model of a Modern Major General”, accompanied by a magnificent twenty-three piece, on-stage orchestra.

Don't miss out on this silly, romantic and utterly iconic stage production of The Pirates of Penzance
