A Symphony for Winds

Enjoy a majestic evening of classical music performed live when Queensland Symphony Orchestra returns to the Redland Performing Arts Centre (RPAC) with A Symphony for Winds, conducted by the renowned Umberto Clerici on Friday 8 November at 7.30pm.

After this whirlwind of passion, the orchestra will whisk you away with graceful dances, offering you a delightful and welcome reprieve.

Then, the Orchestra's talented woodwind musicians will take the spotlight in Strauss' Symphony for Winds No. 2, a piece both light and lyrical despite its creation during the closing days of World War II.

This unforgettable evening of music will showcase the richness of the Queensland Symphony Orchestra's string and woodwind sections in the exceptional acoustics of the RPAC Concert Hall.
